1. Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, Lukita Maxwell and Avan Jogia Join ‘The Backrooms’ From A24 and Chernin Entertainment: The youtube inspired film is filling out its cast, adding Mark Duplass (Creep), Lukita Maxwell (Shrinking), Avan Jogia (Victorious), and Finn Bennett (Warfare).

2. Scott Derrickson, Maggie Levin Tackling Adaptation of Horror Novel ‘Ghost Eaters’ for Screen Gems: Following her work directing V/H/S/99’s “Shredding” segment, Maggie Levin is teaming with her husband, filmmaker Scott Derrickson, to adapt 2022 horror novel Ghost Eaters, a story about a group of friends who start taking a drug that allows them to see ghosts.

3. Eyes Are the Best Part Movie in the Works with Greta Lee: Past Lives' star Greta Lee is stepping behind the camera to write and direct an adaptation of 2024 novel Eyes Are The Best Part, which follows a Los Angeles woman’s path into becoming a serial killer.

Our big announcement last week was our The Quarry Kill Count Canon Playthroughs! For one game only, Zoran will be taking the Kill Count Canon Playthroughs off Patreon and over to Dead Meat Presents. Over three livestreams, Zoran will be joined by the Dead Meat team to play through the game - with the playthrough becoming the official run we use for the game’s Kill Count in season 2.
