This Week in Dead Meat | April 27th

It’s been a big week at Dead Meat! The Dead Meat Horror Awards premiered YESTERDAY!

But beyond just the Horror Awards, basically the whole team has been watching Sinners! What a movie. Cinema is alive and we owe it all to Ryan Coogler. If you haven’t had the chance to check out the movie, cannot encourage you enough to experience it theaters.

What’s Going On In The World

1. ‘Urban Legend’ Reboot in the Works from Gary Dauberman, Neal Moritz: A return to the world of Urban Legend is no longer a, well, urban legend - with a modernization being produced by Gary Dauberman.

2. ‘Ready or Not: Here I Come’ Adds Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood and More as Searchlight Sequel Starts Production: We’ve gotten our cast lineup for the long awaited Ready or Not sequel. And sure, we can all be excited about Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood. But I’m EQUALLY excited for Shawn Hatosy (Dr. Abbott from The Pitt).

3. FRIDAY THE 13TH TV Show CRYSTAL LAKE Is Finally Underway: Things are officially underway with the oft-troubled Crystal Lake series.
